Happy Mother's Day to all my fellow MOMS!!! Take a break, you deserve it. Today I was doted over by my wonderful husband and amazing children. I was given numerous cards, poems, pictures and a lovely purse. I was treated to a nice lunch and some shopping. What more could a girl ask for, right??I also decided it was time to start a tradition. Ari has been home just over six months. She has been an amazing addition to our famiy and a ture treasure. We felt today, especially, we needed to give thanks to her birthmother and foster mama for the sacrifices they had made. So, our new tradition is ths. We bought two balloons and "sent" them to Guatemala. As an affection for our love for them. I took Ari outside and let her release them into the beautiful blue sky. Over the years, as she ages, I hope we can make this a time of reflection and time to give thanks to her wonderful birthmother and foster mama. They were a step on the path of the amazing joureny that led to our daughter.
