Hard to believe but today is October 1st. I love Fall and am definitely ready for those cool nites, warm apple cider, mums, changing leaves, falling leaves, and of course, more football. Life is good here. We are busy with football and soccer but the boys are doing awesome. Ashton is a resident "bench warmer" for his team but Aden and Alijah love playing when it's their turn. Aden just grins from ear to ear and runs all over the place. It's so nice to see that energy put to good use:-) Andrew and Alex are doing great in football. Alex has improved tremendously and even scored his first touchdown of his career this past weekend, along with two extra points. John and I have just had a great time enjoying watching them play.
In about four weeks, soccer and football will be over and we will have a few months off until the next sport rolls around. It will be nice to have our Saturdays free to enjoy some much needed down time and work on some "honey-do" lists that we have both been making:-) It's amazing how in all this hustle and bustle John and I still find time to actually "talk" to each other. It may be an early morning when the kids are all asleep or a late afternoon chat in the driveway while the kids are playing but it just amazes me how we still are able to achive a few minutes to ourselves in this craziness we call LIFE:-). We had a great weekend and I don't really have much anything else.......
