was refreshing, relaxing and I think we even felt a bit rested:-) This past weekend we enjoyed just hanging out around the house and with the kids. It was so nice! We had NO soccer, NO pool parties, and NO leftover mess to clean up:-) We decided early on in the month to just make it a "work weekend" per se and clean up around the outside and the pool area. The pool is almost swimmable.....to our children it is but to me it requires HEAT, lol!! The kids swam a little, played outside a TON, and enjoyed our little family bbq:-) They even had a pick-up football game in the backyard on Monday and if I counted right there were 16 kids out there. All the kids played great together and it was neat to watch them all play. I was the sideline referree while the younger kids ( I think there five or six) just played on the swingset! John maintenanced the pool, I cleaned pool furniture and then we ended the weekend with a cookout. Oh, I did go on a HOT date with five amazing young men to Indiana Jones on Saturday but I didn't think it was that good. The boys LOVED the ants......YUK!!!
My dad was home from the hospital, in the ER, and back in Lutheran this weekend. He is home now and resting. All his tests came back "normal" but please continue to pray for his health.
