my first day as a substitute teacher!!!! And, I absolutely LOVED it!!! I had 27 great kids and I think we all had a wonderful day!!! I enjoyed them and I honestly think, they enjoyed me:-) I wasn't sure what to expect but I'm so glad I took the job....it was a lot of fun!!! I let them in on a little secret at the end of the day - It was my very first day as a sub! They thought that was great!!! It was also fun to be at my nieces' and nephew's school and get a chance to see them as well!! I had quite a few students who I knew somehow whether it be their parents or thru soccer or football! I even had a couple of my dad's students that were in his class his first year at Harrison and had transferred over to Eisenhower. It was a great day!!! But, I'm so glad I don't do it five days a week"-) I was tired and had a full day in Ft. Wayne yesterday as well visiting the dentist (again) and doing some shopping. I'm ready to be a homebody today, lol! Is that possible with my six wild and crazy kids and their schedules???
Oh yeah, I had the opportunity to teach reading comprehension, math(a test), writing and two classes of Science. Needless to say, I added in there "mingle minutes" and "27 questions to ask your sub". They LOVED it!!!

Glad you enjoyed your first day. Lexi sure did enjoy seeing you. She was hoping you would be her sub for today. :)
