Few and far between....

Yep, that's how my posts seem to be:) I guess you could say, "I'm busy" but that would be an understatement! Sure, it would be nice to keep a daily delclaration of my thoughts but really, who reads this stuff anyway?! ME! That's who! So, if I don't have time, I don't have time.

This Spring we have been completely consumed with soccer & track!! The season's are going great. The younger four boys are playing soccer and LOVING it!!! Alex, Alijah, and Ashton have all scored so far this season which is an added bonus. Alex normally enjoys defense but the last game the coach put him offense and he scored THREE goals!!!! Ashton is a new child on the soccer field. Two years ago when we first attempted soccer with him, he cried (and cried and cried) and didn't want to play. This year, he lives and breathes soccer!!!! He keeps track of his games along with his jersey and all his gear. He's hilarious to watch! His best bud is on the team this year, too which I think helps greatly!!!.

Track is in full swing! Alex is doing really well in the 200 and 4x2. He's even gonna attempt the 400 at his next meet I think. He looks forward to his meets and is having a fun time "socializing" between events.

Andrew, on the other hand, has blown us away when it comes to his track performances:) He's been coming in one or two in the 400 ALL season! He's the top 400 runner for his team! He's also on the top 4x4 relay and had the opportunity to run the top 4x100 his last meet. At his relay meet, his relay that consisted of 2,2,4,8 broke the school record! The boy is on fire!! He's really come a long way from last year's meets where I would see him jog a 100 and smile all the way down....I was ready to ring his nexk;) I've been quite impressed!

As for me, I've been holding down the fort while John's been trying his hand at that traveling job.....I think we are all beginning to loathe it a bit but you do what you gotta do. My Aims Web team is back in action so I worked this week and will work the next two! All I have to say, is working mothers are AMAZING! There aren't enough hours in the day to do all that I need to do. I don't know how these women do it all on a daily basis. With John being gone and the crazy schedule we have, the work on top of it all has left a major mark on my house.....it literally looks like a tornado has come through. Thankfully, a weekend full of nothing is on the agenda after today's soccer games!!! Guess what I will be doing?! :)

With all this "busyness", I 've missed my morning walks/jogs out at the Fitness Trail. I was going 2 or 3 days a week before I started working but now I just can't fit it in. It was a nice way for me to clear my head (and get my butt in gear to)

Well, I guess that's it for now. I'm off to enjoy the silence until it's time to wake these kiddoes up for soccer.
