and the New Year couldn't have started off better:) We have all been SUPER busy with school starting back-up, John back on the road, and I, myself, conducting Aims Web testing again. Thankfully, for me, the testing has finished and I am back to my regular sub jobs. I love the kids during testing but it gets very old after 7 days of reading the same dialogue and conducting the same tests. I am looking forward to some upcoming sub jobs and getting some much needed organization done around the house.
John has been busy with trips to Minnesota, Ohio, Wisconsin, and Tennessee. He heads out again tomorrow for the week but will surely make it home in time for the weekend:)
The kids have been busy with school picking back up in FULL swing. They all ROCKED their report cards for the second nine weeks and have been absolutely AMAZING students this year:) I couldn't ask for anything more from any of them. They all work SO hard and have that little bit of "over-achiever" in them that they get honestly (ha)!!!
We didn't make ANY Resolutions this year and I am very happy with that decision. We just decided to make some adjustments so to speak. In doing so , they are working great in all areas we "adjusted" I would say. For me, I personally made a commitment to get back into my excercise routine. I pretty much took a year off after my foot injury and after seeing pictures of myself from New Year's , I knew I had to do something. It doesn't help when you hear little kids call you names either. I heard that a few times this year and unfortunately, I guess, the truth hurts, whether the child should say it or not. Oh well, I have gotten back with my game plan and feel great. I have set small goals for myself to get to Spring Break (Bring on Spring Break!!!) and am looking forward to achieving them:) I must say though, with the five workouts I put in this week, the last two about did me in. I am SO Sore!!!! Jillian Michael's successfully kicked my butt....LOL!!!
I am looking forward to seeing how the rest of the month goes as we enjoy basketball games, family fun times and date nights:) February brings the Super Bowl, birthdays, Valentine's Day and who knows what else we can fit in:) We are loving this down time before Track and Soccer pick up full swing and our crazy schedule begins again. We are LOVING being Lazy together with movie nights, game nights and just plain ol' down time!! We couldn't ask for anything more! Life is Good!!
