So, it looks like Christmas came early at our house this year;) On Monday, as I cleaned up dinner I saw this tiny little paws sliding up and down our glass door. At first, I thought it was our shop cat, Frankie Blue Eyes but then realized he was way too small to be him. I opened the sliding door and in came this little guy. Santa has a real sense of humor because this guy isn't winning beauty awards by any means;) He came in and devoured Bauer's food dish. He was starving and his ribs were showing and he was shivering. Of course, I couldn't let him back outside. He needed some loving. So, John wasn't home and the kids and I took it upon ourselves to cuddle and cradle this "cute in his own way" little pup. He has been here ever since. Earlier on Monday, Alijah had been out with Grandpa and saw him wandering down the road. They think he was possibly dropped off by a passing vehicle. We are not sure. He by all means, is a mutt. At first, we thought maybe he was a Blue Tick Hound by his markings on his back but the more I am around him (He thinks I'm his mother), I think he is more of a terrier of some kind. And possibly a beagle head...The poor guy's head does not go with his body, at all!!!
So, for the first couple of days the kids were calling him Kevin! That was the first Christmas "name" they came up with. Ha! Now, they have decided on Chet. Which is the clumsy reindeer from Santa Clause 2. So, even though, we don't need a dog and we weren't expecting a Christmas gift whatsoever, we now have CHET CHRISTMAS:) He is a fun, loving little rascal who brings all sorts of energy back to our abode:)
