Don't Cry Over Spilled Milk..............Isn't that what they say?

So, I woke up with a major headached today. Kinda came out of nowhere, but it's here. So, this morning I was lounging around on the couch with the kiddos before school while one of my offspring was kicking the ball in the house. Now, the following words come out of my mouth, sometimes on a daily basis to this one individual child, "do not kick the ball in the house". It doesn't matter if it's a ball the size of a quarter or my stability ball, if the ball's there, this boy will kick it, throw it, bounce it, whatever the case may be.

So, this morning while two boys are eating breakfast and I am reading to one, the other two are carrying on with this ball. One is an innocent bystander and the other is goofing around. Well, they get the ball stuck on our ledge that is about 15ft. up. I thought, "serves em right" no more ball in the house. Well, as I procceed to read books to the one, all of a sudden there is an explosion of sorts. Cereal is flying everywhere!!! I am not kidding you. The poor boy eating the cereal is covered head to toe, there is milk and cereal all over the table, all over the floor and sure enough, dripping from the ceiling!!!! No kidding, I would've taken pictures but I didn't find it funny at the actual moment it happened. Needless to say, I spent my morning cleaning the floor, table and ceiling...........What a day and it wasn't even 9am yet:-)

Ok, Spring Break. What a GREAT time! Once again, we took the kids to Kalahari. Their all-time favorite destination. Our kids are EXTREMELY active and anywhere they can run FREE (with a watchful eye of course) they are ready to go. John and I were still kinda sick while there but the kids had a ball. Ari, once again, didn't care for the water but this time she LOVED the dry play park. She was all over that place. She would go in by herself and climb to the second level easily. Then, she would bring John and I all the purple balls. She even tried to kick a little four year old off the kiddie slide because she wanted on. She was so funny totting around all the BIG kids.

Alijah and Aden marked new achievements on this trip. Alijah went surfing for the first time and they both LOVED going on the body slides. The lines were short so they just kept running up the stairs the minute they would come down the slide. Ashton kept asking if he was tall enough because he wanted to go so bad. Andrew and Alex played best buds and were all over the slides and the flo-rider. Andrew was doing all sorts of new tricks on the boogie board that he hadn't done in visits past.
Alijah and Aden spent time with one of Alijah's classmates who just happened to be there. They really enjoyed their time together. All n all it was good fun and John and I got to relax and catch up. What more could I ask for, right? A tan w0uld've been nice:-) Needless to say, we can't wait for them to open up the expansion in 2008. The kids can't wait for the toilet bowl slide!!!!

Easter went well, too. We just went to our church and out to dinner with some family. It was a good meal and then the kids and I were off to a movie, Are We Done Yet? If you've seen Wild Hogs, the cop in that is in this. He's just as funny, I think. The movie was cute and the house in it was beautiful.

Well, I have plenty of laundry to keep me busy. I will try to post some Spring Break pix with this! Have a good day everyone!!
