After what seemed to be a very LONG season, the Huskies came away with a very BIG win. They are City Champs:-) It was GREAT to see them play stronger than ever this last game and to see Andrew's friend pull off 14pts ( at least) in the grand finale. As for Andrew, basketball this year was not only about fundamentals but a time to learn some serious life lessons. He is glad it's over. We are glad it's over. We feel content with the decicision of letting him choose whether to play or not. At this time, we don't regret it. This season took a lot of faith, perseverence, prayer and believing in our son and allowing God to lead the way. We realized many things this season. One being, we are not there to live vicariously thru our child. Our time is over, this was Andrew's time and that's what we allowed it to be and we encouraged him every step of the way and supported him through the good times and bad. Andrew made us very proud! Whether, on or off the court, he showed true sportsmanship through and through:-)
