Brett on Broadway....What!?!?!

Well, my hubby woke me up with three little words today "Brett's a Jet". Yep, that's right. The "legend" of Green Bay has been traded to the Jets. While I can agree and disagree with some of the "goings on" between the Pac and Brett. I can't quite fathom the fact that a team would turn their nose at a legend. A boy they loved for, I believe, the last 17 seasons!!! On the other hand, Brett does need to stop crying wolf and retire when he says he's gonna but I think there was some definite low-balling by the Packers GM and coach. I don't know what' s true and untrue of the whole situation but how could you say you are gonna make your "star" quarterback "compete" for the quarterback position. All I know is it should prove to be an interesting year and I think both Favre and Aaron Rodgers have a lot to prove. One, that Brett isn't an old washed up quarterback and two, that Rodgers can actually fill the shoes he was hired to fill.........I guess now I will be saying "Go Jets" this football season. Along with, of course, GO COLTS!!!!
