WOW! I haven't really been the best at blogging this year. But that can only mean one thing, I have way TOO much other stuff to be doing other than sitting in front of my computer;-) Boy, have we had a crazy start to this year. Between my foot, our move, and getting back into the swing of things.....Life has been crazy busy but ALL in a good way.
Here's a few highlights of the past few weeks (Maybe if I get a chance, I will blog on them more specifically but for now, a phrase or two)
*We've MOVED! Yep, you heard me right. We've moved back home. Back home you say? Yep, back to where it all began:-) We are living in our old house. With a little TLC, it will really be the 'perfect' place for us. The boys are loving the land to roam, the shop to hang out with dad and of course all the barn cats and the three dogs that come to visit daily.....two chihauhaus (sp) and a golden/chow mix. They are SO funny. The sit on the deck and wait for the kids:-) Or "Air Bud" will sit on the front stoop and wait. The only one not adjusting well to the move is Bauer. She is having a hard time but hopefully will loosen up once the weather gets better and her fence is in and she can run. We aren't real sure how long we will be here. Years or maybe just months.....All depends on our schooling situation and if we can get the kids in WCS. If we are unable to, we will move again.
*Wrestling has started. Andrew had his first meet this past weekend and went 2-0 personally. The team placed 6th. He's loving it. He's really becoming quite the young man. We are currently working on his four year plan to get through high school. Yikes! He's focusing on grades (and girls, too) and making his best effort to be scholarship worthy come graduation.
* I completed another session of Aims Web. I love the ladies I work with and if I could work with them daily, I would. Just not doing AW everyday. I'm back to subbing here and there but not much one or two days a week. Just enough to get me out of the house for a bit.
*John has been busy being "mom" and doing a good job:-) He's still trying to find work and is doing the best he can to keep us content.
We have alot to look forward to in the coming weeks..Andrew's birthday, John's birthday, wrestling matches, painting projects:-), and SO much more.
God has truly blessed us. If anything, we do ask that you continue to pray for our family. We rely on our faith to get us through, for God to provide.
Hopefully, in the next couple weeks I can post before/after pictures of my painting project. It's amazing what a coat of paint and a few other minor changes can do:-)
It's so much fun to "create". I really am having fun! I will have to post pictures from wrestling matches soon, too.
Well, I am going to finish enjoying my "quiet" morning and then head into the school for a bit! Enjoy your day!
