I was channel surfing last night and came across this movie, The Memory Keeper's Daughter. Did anyone watch it? Ok, I wasn't actually surfing......I had seen the commercial the past few weeks and it had intrigued me so I decided to watch it. I was NCIS marathoned out, lol!!! Anyway, I am anxious to read the book. The movie ended and I wanted more. More resolution..The jist of the story is a Dr. and his wife have twins, a boy and a girl. The girl has Down's Syndrome so the Dr. tells his wife the baby has passed and the baby is then raised by the Dr.'s Nurse. Needless to say, it was very interesting. The "memory keeper" is a brand of camera the Dr. recieved from his wife just after their children's birth. He becomes an avid photographer and mesmerized with finding out more about his "dead" daughter......Anyway, it's now on my list of books to read. I want to know if it's better than the movie which books usually are.

Hi Heather.
I have the book. I've only read a few chapters....took it camping last summer & it has been in the camper all this time. When I saw the movie was on, I thought it would be a quick way to the end of the book. I do want to read it...but it was just hard for me to into it...doesn't read like Karen Kingsbury.
