My Dog Story:-)

So, last night I was having trouble falling asleep. I think I finally shut the lights off at 11pm and was tossing and turning when dogs back through the woods started going CRAZY!!! I thought maybe they had spotted a cat or something but they definitely would NOT shut-up. During all this hootin and hollarin, I started to have a major coughing spell. I have a cold that will not cease:-( I sound like I have smoked 6 packs a day since I came out of the womb. I am not kidding you, when these "fits" come they are horrible. My kids were even laughing at me last night because it sounds so weird. Anyway, back to the dogs. After what seemed like an eternity, the barking ceased; the dogs' and mine:-) Then no sooner did I shut my eyes, I was awakened to even LOUDER barking. The dogs from the woods must've heard my "mating call" and were below my bedroom window, outside the fence, barking away. The thing about this cough, is when I laugh, I cough more. By this time, John is awakening, I am laughing which turns to coughing and the dogs are going CRAZY!!! I finally shut myself up and the dogs leave with major disappointment!!! Anyway, I don't know if the dogs really heard my cough but with the timing of everything it sure did seem like it:-) It made for quite an interesting evening except for waking up at 3am and now having a touch of the stomach flu.........I can't win:-(
