It looks like my dad gets to come home today!!!:-) What was intended to be an outpatient shoulder surgery, turned into an extended stay in Luthern. But, to look at the bright side, my dad didn't have to be out in this horribly COLD weather!!! It looks like, he had a mild heart attack in recovery after his shoulder surgery. We all had this worry in the back of our minds going into this but he had to have his shoulder fixed. His bicep was torn away from the bone. So, now, instead of just shoulder recovery, he will be getting his heart back up to speed as well. He will be taking the next week off to recover which means I get another shot at 4th grade!!! I have had the kids a few times now so I think it will go well....
Thank you all who have lifted my dad and mom up in prayer, the phone calls, the visits and those who have planned meals. We apprecitate all of it. I, personally, would like to thank my friends who took the time to call me and see just how my parents were doing and if they needed anything. It means a lot to know you all care:-)
Enjoy the warm day....a high of 20!!! We have birthday parties to get to and get to cap the evening off with a date!!
