Christmas Eve...

was FUN! We had my parents over like in years' past to spend the night. This year we had a FIESTA so as to not forget Guatemala this time of year:-) We played games, tracked Santa, watched Christmas movies, and laughed alot:-) John and I played elves and attempted to put together only one toy this year! That's SO good compared to year's past and just one this year was plenty, lol.

The kids also confessed as to who they were in their 3rd annual Secret Siblings. We started this a few years back so the kids could take time to "give" to a sibling. Not necessarily to receive a gift but to "think" about someone else and their likes/dislikes. At first, John and I didn't really think it had much impact on them but after hearing them talk this year about years' past and what they were focusing on this year, they proved one thing, they really do LOVE each other...LOL!! The Secret Sibling has become an annual part of Christmas Eve tradition and I think it will be here for many more years to come.






Another FUN part of Christmas Eve is hanging up ornaments. Each year, the kids get a special ornament that reflects the year and they hang it on our BIG family tree:-) Here's Ari hanging hers....



And last but not least. How could I forget Ashton tracking Santa (or maybe he was really facebooking....lol)
