Amazing Weekend:)

It's almost half-way thru October and our weekend consisted of lots of outdoor fun:) Grilling out, games on the deck, football games in the yard, playing in leaf piles, sitting under the stars late into the night, telling ghost stories, tiki torches lighting up the night:)....Some of these activities you wouldn't expect in October but the weather was absolutely gorgeous!!!!  We were all set to go pumpkin picking but decided to back it up a weekend to wait for more Fall like weather.  I know, crazy!!  We had even talked of going to a movie but we couldn't pass up this weather! Amazing!  Instead, we spent a lot of the weekend doing what our kids love best.....playing football.  It is hilarious to watch because it's like we are running a mini-clinic in the yard.  All five boys go out for passes while Ari stands on the "sidelines" and cheers.

Aden did have a PeeWee game this weekend! He did really well yet again:) He's like a bull in a China shop, I'd say.  You don't want to get in his way!!!!  Sunday we headed to church for another sermon on the Holy Spririt. Amazing! Dr. Mike Grill was the speaker and I was totally taken in.  Then again, I am a little bias as he was my Child Psych prof back in the day but his words were truly amazing.  After a quick bite to eat, we headed home for more football in the yard, football on the tube and grilling out.  A PERFECT day!

The new week is here and of course, filled with more activities. The last elementary soccer game, more Pee Wee and an away game for Andrew.  Oh and Ashton is the Star Student this week so I'm reading to his class:) A field trip is on the calender and we have two birthdays coming up.  October is gonna fly by...

Life is good!
