Aden in position and ready to rumble
Alex giving the ball the boot! Boy, can he kick!
Andrew taking down his opponent!!
Hard to believe but our Sports Season is about to come to a close. We have one Freshman and two PeeWee games to go and we are done with sports for a few months!!! Where does the time go?! It seems like just yesterday that Andrew started his High School football career but really that was way back in June!!! He's come along really well! He's been a starter all season as well as a very key player:) From safety, to corner, to receiver, he has been getting his hands on the ball.
Alex played his last year of elementary soccer and more than likely his last year of organized soccer. He's been asked to play on two different travel teams and has turned them both down, his decision. I think he's now played for nine years! He's now hanging up the cleats and moving on to a pair of football cleats for middle school:) Once again, Husky soccer proved to be the powerhouse and finished the season undefeated and City Champs!!! Alex, like Andrew, was on the team for three years. Alex was lucky enough to have his Grampa as his coach all three years:)
That leaves Aden:) Boy, can this boy tackle!!! I really don't know what to think when he said he wanted to play football but all my doubts have been erased. He's AMAZING!!!! As his coach says, "he may be 84lbs but he tackles like he's 150!!!" Aden LOVES the game and I see him spending many more Fall Seasons on the grid iron.
I am so proud of all the boys! They have played hard and maintained amazing grades at the same time as well! I am a big believer in being involved in sports and what it teaches outside of the actual sport itself:) SO proud of my kiddoes!!!
