we need not only be thankful for what God has given us, but be appreciative. i may not be rich in the way man perceives, however, i am. i am rich in family, knowledge, health, and faith..."

My sister is wise behind her years. She definitely has it right:) So glad my life isn't measured by my worldly possessions.
Like Bill Ferguson said...
Be willing to have nothing. The more you are willing to have nothing, the more you appreciate everything that you have."
This is such an AMAZING statement!! And if only people would LIVE this way. I think a lot have switched to this mentality with the fall of the economy the past few years but there are still SO many who are caught up in "stuff". It's sad really...There are so many more important things like my sister referenced...family, health knowledge and the big one to me, FAITH. My faith has grown in so many ways the last five years or so and I am so blessed to have such an awesome FAMILY and thankfully a few friends who fit into that category as well. When you have friends that have been with you for twenty plus years, you can't help but be family:)
No matter how you look at it, Life is Good! God is "large and in charge" and leading me every step of the way. Without Him, where would I be?! As for now, I will continue to be blessed with the amazing life he has given me including an amazing husband, children, family and different friends along life's journey. It's ALL good!
Now, to ENJOY this rainy weekend with my FAMILY:) Let the fun begin...
