Today, I took the kids to get haircuts, went to the bagel shop, headed to Ft Wayne for Sam's and Old Navy and then hit McD's on the way home! I did this all by one o' clock. I think I surprised myself by all that we crammed in today:-) The kids still aren't tired. Darn! I threw them in the pool (not literally) the rest of the afternoon and now they are vegging out watching a movie!
It amazes me how people @ Sam's think SAHM don't need to shop. I got more rude looks from "business" type people and those sighs under the breath that no one thinks they can hear. Hello, I am a MOM. I have the bionic woman's hearing, lol!! Seriously, my kids weren't screaming or throwing fits of any kind. I just ran into rude people who think I must cook from everything I grow in the garden or on the farm. Oh, I forgot. My shoe has windows too:-) Ok, I know, total sarcasm but it irritates me sometime when people treat me like I am an idiot because I am toting 6 kids around. One man impaticular today let out the "sigh" and just stood there. There was no "excuse me" or anything. Just the "I'm irritated" look and "hey, lady get out of my way" eye roll. Sam's was crowded and on every corner was a sample lady handing out food. I wasn't there to feed my kids lunch. I was there to get my groceries and be gone! HELLO! I have better things to do too. Ok, that's my complaining so to make up for it here are three things are am truly grateful for. One, Ashton's giggle. It makes me smile from ear to ear. Two, Aden's comments. They may not always be what a mother's ear wants to hear b ut they come straight from what he's thinking at the time. Three, my beautiful children, of course. They are cute as buttons and as rotten to the core as any mother would want, LOL!!! They keep me on my toes and keep me laughing on a daily basis.
Speaking of children, my house is deafly quiet. I best be going to see what is happening:-)
