Well, this is what I'm dreaming of today! Warmth, sand between my toes, and time to relax. You say, well you've been on your butt for a week. You should be relaxed. NOT!!! I have been sitting on my butt for a week, hobbling to the bathroom and staring at gray skies and snow. Don't get me wrong, the snowfall has been gorgeous but I just feel I need something to put a kick back in my step. For me, this would be it. I am not a HUGE fan of Cancun but I would go again. It's way too commercialized but the hotel, water and staff were WONDERFUL the last time we were there. I keep seeing deals being posted and I'm just SO tempted!! I know it won't happen but a girl can dream:-) John and I have come to realize it's not about what vacation we take next or where we go on a date but what time we have together. This past year, some our best moments have been curled up on the couch or an early morning conversation out on the deck. We are so blessed:-) While vacation does sound nice, I think I will settle with trying to wisk John away to Chicago or Indy or something for his birthday. He SO deserves it!!! We'll see if I can pull it off. A lot is about to take place between now and then so maybe we will reward ourselves with a getaway. Who knows! I just know Cancun is on my mind today.....
