Well, can you believe are princesa, or as we like to call her, "the Queen" is 3 today!!! The pictures above are from her 1st birthday, 2nd birthday, and then a picture taken this summer down at the pool. Hard to believe that it's been two years already since we celebrated her first birthday in Guatemala with chocolate cake (which was really good and Dominoes) in a little hotel room in Guatemala City. Oh, that reminds me, I have a picture of that somewhere I will have to share......Last year, her birthday was a BIG fiesta with fireworks and the whole nine yards. We tried the tradtional tres leches cake but it wasn't a hit.....Tonite, we are looking forward to celebrating a little more low key than last year with friends, family, pizza and the pool. She's all gung ho on having a Princess Party and keeps asking about her Princess dress and Presents! The boys have already taught her about "presents". It's amazing how quickly time goes by. It seems like forever ago, we were just getting "the call" and now to know that she's been with home with us almost two years is absolutely amazing! She is quite the character and very strong willed. She is even starting pre-school in the fall! She is definitely growing up but not in heigth:-) I will post pix of her special day later.......I'm off to wake up the little princesa so we can get a move on the day:-)
