On Saturday night, we loaded up the kids and headed to "our spot" to watch the fireworks. It was a little different this year as we didn't have grandparents, great grandparents and extended family to watch with but Holly and our families camped out and waited for the fireworks to start. It was a PERFECT evening!!! The kids played tag, caught fireflies, played duck, duck goose and just ran around chasing each other. When the fireworks actually started, they watched with excitement but you can always use the phrase "short and sweet" when it comes to Winona's fireworks. They are never overly spectacular but the finale is always good:)

We had cupcakes to celebrate Ari's birthday! She thought it was great that her BIG day included a parade and fireworks ALL for her;)
Saturday definitely ended up being a "busy" but GREAT day!!! We started out in Winona for the parade. The boys headed to the movies while Ari and I went shopping and then we ended the evening with Fireworks. It was a late night! But, it was ALL good!!
