Sweet Caroline Puck

Oh, how I LOVE this song! While I love the Neil Diamond version much more, I saw this version tonight while watching glee and couldn't help but think of just why I do love this song:) I have quite a few memories that come to mind when I hear this:)
Neil Diamond has always reminded me of my Gramma Stapleton. We would always listen to the "tape" when we were visiting her. How could you not LOVE "Coming to America"? It's like an anthem, isn't it? But Sweet Caroline, impaticular, reminds me of my first trip to Disney with John. John and I would sit in the little hotel bar each night and listen to the piano player. One song he played, and played well I might ad, was Sweet Caroline. We loved it SO much that it became one of our "many" girl names that we never had the opportunity to use:)
This song also reminds me of the first Girls' Trip I ever went on. While I can't remember for sure if this song was played the morning of the TODAY concert, it totally brings me back to that morning and all the fun I had with my friends:) That and my Gramma crying when I called her from the show and told her I was holding a sign that said "My gramma loves Neil Diamond" and she swears that she saw me....I don't know if she did but it sure is a FUN memory!!!!
