What can I say?! We've been hybernating in the summer!!!! The HEAT is here! So, the last couple of days we've been laying low. Monday, we needed a day to regroup after all our FUN from the weekend. John left early early Tuesday am and we have just been vegging out at home. We had every intention of beating the heat at the pool or the Splash Park but instead we have opted for a couple of jammie days:) Oh, how I love those days! The kids have been busy doing their "thing" and I've been doing some of my "to do" list stuff trying to get things in order.
I've painted the last three days but am nowhere near done!!!! Our living room is getting close but I'm SO impatient. I do about one tray of paint and call it quits for the day:) At this rate, my house might be finished by the time I decided to move again, LOL!
Andrew has had Football Camp everyday this week so we have no adventures really planned. He's been exhausted when he comes home and still has plenty of summer reading to do. I think we'll probably hit the pool this Friday and maybe a movie over the weekend. But other than that, I have nothing. So really, I have nothing to type about:) Just more gibberish....
I'm hoping John makes it home for the weekend. It really sucks having him gone all the time....I love my kids to death but would love some adult time, too. And I think they would really LOVE a break from their mama. I think that may be why they are always spending the night with friends:) Andrew and Alex are gone tonight...which actually makes for a quiet house! Ha!
I'm not ready for winter but I am ready for the HEAT to decrease a bit! I'd be happy girl with the low 80's. When walking on the conrete at the pool and it burns your feet........you know it's TOO hot!!!
