Can you hear me singing it just like the Bay City Rollers?! LOL! Yep, it's Saturday Night. We started off the weekend GREAT!!! I think we had the laziest day we've had ALL summer!!! It was awesome!!! Really, I think the kids were just resting up for TODAY. They all had BIG plans:) Andrew & Alex are off to friends for the next 24 hours. Ari is living it up with her cousin, Karolina, at a "sleepover". Ari was SO pumped about this that she even slept with her suitcase!!!! She and Lina look like night and day but LOVE to get in SO much trouble together:) The stories tomorrow should be intersting. The younger three boys have set out on their own real adventure. They headed to Gramma and Grampa's for a Cousin Camp-Out. I'm sure they are having a BLAST!!! They love going over there to play with the neighbor kids, have golf-cart rides, and play games:)
So, where does that leave me?! John and I were set to jet away to Indy for a nice romantic getaway but as you can tell, it didnt' happen:( I would be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed. I was devastated. I had had this date marked for weeks and was SO set to get away with him. Believe me, if I was off alone with my hubby, I wouldn't be taking the time to update my blog:) Unfortunately, he is headed to Arizona:( I guess I just don't have much luck anymore.....Alone seems to be my new best friend, unfortuntaley.
SO, here I sit. It's kinda weird having such a quiet house. I don't really like it. I did a little shopping, made some dinner and now, I think I will just veg.... so Chick Flick Movie Night it is:) It'd be nice if I was motivated enough to do some cleaning or painting but I think that will wait. It's sad enough that I'm sitting here alone on a Saturday night.....
